Melissa is a professional artist who dedicates her time to illustrating subject matter she is inspired by. She has a unique modern style which is full of expression.

In one of her recent series entitled 'Santa Catalina', there are several paintings which depict a serene and peacefull convent in Arequipa, Peru. While working as a tour guide in Peru, Melissa visited this Spanish convent which had been closed to the public for many centuries.

Melissa has a particular passion for painting people. Some of the people are painted from live models and others are painted cognitively.

Melissa has a number of pieces that she refers to as her subconscious paintings. These paintings arise from cognitive images.
